Blog Post #1

I just want to make money. It’s a very simple thing. Or, at least, I think it should be. The truth is, I have tried and tried and I can’t seem to remain productive enough to actually make much money.

Obviously I have the wrong approach. Currently, I work a 9-5. The pay is not good. It is good for my area, though. There really aren’t many jobs around here. I’m very fortunate to have the job that I have. The problem is, I don’t actually like my job. I don’t care to deal with the people I have to deal with every day. They are lazy, arrogant and condescending. They’re also not very intellectually stimulating, but really that’s pretty much my fault I guess. All I ever want to talk about is money. “Hey man, what did you do this weekend?” “I got three tubs of Greek yogurt and two cartons of eggs with 18 eggs apiece for $2.75!” (True story.) Every time I try to talk about business ideas and side hustles and investing, every bit of it falls on deaf ears and forces me into this awkward state of estrangement.

I’ll find my people though. I’m obviously not the only one who hates their job, but I might be one of few that hates their job because they love working. I thrive on creating systems and accomplishing tasks. And I 100% can’t stand that I don’t get paid enough for my enthusiasm. I’m exhausted with people getting paid more than me to hang out on their phones. It’s not only demoralizing to not be paid what you’re worth. It’s like. The loneliest place in the world is a crowded room. When you’re the only one there having the time of your life because there’s all this work today, it’s sad that nobody else wants to be on the team. There’s no dream working there.

But there could be. There will be. I’ll find the other workaholics. I’ll find the other people that are obsessed with money. The “money is the root of all evil” people can leave us alone. More money for us.

Anyways, I don’t know what I’m doing. I have a vision, but also I have AuDHD, so really, I have like 100 visions and I’m trying to bring them all together. I suppose the blog will be the command center for all of the other nonsense. I’ll probably launch a YouTube channel, try my hand at fifty different side hustles, start some businesses, buy some real estate. All of it. Anything but working alongside others who are miserable while working. I don’t want to become that. I want to enjoy every minute of making money.

If you pay attention to all of the content, there will be clues for treasure. I’ve already hidden money in the forest. I’m not quite wealthy enough to compete with Forrest Fenn, but maybe one day I will be. Unfortunately, like Fenn’s treasure, I don’t think anyone will find the money for at least a decade, because the first bit of treasure is too well prized by me. There’s something else with it that will be invaluable if I become famous, but that’s quite the arduous task and a long ways in the future. I needn’t worry about it now. I’ll tell you exactly where the first prize is soon.

All right. I’ve started the laundry, steamed the toilets, ran the dishwasher and jammed out 600ish words for a blog post. I’ve got to run. I have to cook dinner yet and brush my teeth before bed. I have quite a lot of money to make tomorrow. Good luck getting rich, friends!
